IT Infrastructure Manager

Job Description Job Description This is a full-time permanent hybrid position in New Haven, Connecticut. The IT Infrastructure Manager will work alongside our MSP to oversee and maintain our IT infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing and managing complex infrastructure environments. This includes building, connecting and securing both Cloud and On-Prem IT infrastructure.

About Mitro MITRO Biotech Co., Ltd. is a molecular imaging contract research organization (MI-CRO) company in China. MITRO provides outstanding contract research for new drug development using radiolabeling and molecular imaging techniques.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design, deploy, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions that leverage both cloud and on-prem resources to meet business needs. 2.

Cloud Services Management: Manage cloud services and platforms, such as Azure and AWS Cloud Platform, including provisioning resources, configuring services, and optimizing performance and cost-efficiency. 3. On-prem Infrastructure Management:

Administer and maintain on-prem servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and other infrastructure components, ensuring optimal performance and availability. 4. Network Configuration and Optimization: Configure and optimize network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and Firewall devices, to support business operations and ensure secure and reliable connectivity. 5.

Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices and compliance standards across all infrastructure environments, including data protection, access controls and audit logging in conjunction with regulatory requirements. 6. Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Policies to ensure rapid recovery of IT systems and business functions. 7. Monitoring and Performance Tracking: Monitor Cloud and On-Prem infrastructure performance, capacity, and resource utilization and implement a proactive approach to addressing issues, concerns or bottlenecks. 8.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies, and provide regular reports to management on infrastructure performance, issues, and initiatives. 9. Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing:

Collaborate with IT leadership and other departments to ensure alignment of infrastructure with business needs and objectives. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement. 10. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with a focus on managing Cloud and On-Prem environments. Strong technical skills in Cloud Computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), Storage technologies (e.g.

Fiber Channel and iSCSI SANs), Network Administration (e.g.

Firewall and Switch management, Switch configuration, VLAN design and implementation), and System Administration (e.g., Linux, Windows (Server Desktop), Mac). Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, HIPAA). Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently. Relevant Certifications are a plus (e.g. VMware, Storage, AWS, Azure, and Networking). PLEASE NOTE:
