Uline seeks summer 2019 IT Infrastructure Interns at its NYC / Phila Branch in Allentown, Pennsylvania.


  • Receive, inventory and configure new equipment.

  • Cable manage workstations and install equipment.

  • Upgrade hardware in existing computers and printers.

  • Troubleshoot, repair and install computer systems (PC) and mobile devices (iOS / Android).

  • Configure and automate software installations.

  • Respond to daily user requests and resolve issues in a proactive manner.

  • Log time and problem resolutions via IT ticket system.

  • Participate in planning and implementation of multi-scale projects.


  • This internship is open to Information Technology / Computer majors only.

  • Solid communication skills and willingness to work in a team environment a must.

  • Detail-oriented, hardworking and enthusiastic.

  • Able to work independently when requested.


  • Gain professional work experience in an area related to your degree.

  • Work in a positive, well-balanced environment.

VIEW JOBS 1/11/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-11T00:00 Opportunity: Spring 2019 Food Access Intern / Volunteer (unpaid) Department: Impact OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION This intern will help manage United Way's work in the area of Food Access. Tasks include attendance at Lehigh Valley Food Policy Council meetings, visiting organizations and writing blog posts that address hunger and food insecurity, assistance in tracking data related to food insecurity, working with community partners to help develop strategies to address the issue. Skills in research, mapping, and communication will be helpful in this internship. This opportunity is appropriate for an intern looking to gain real world experience in community relationship building (mostly in person), grassroots organizing, advocacy for social causes and meeting facilitation. This is an unpaid internship of between 10 and 20 hours per week, with a minimum 3 month commitment. This internship reports to and works out of our office in Allentown, PA. It is not necessary to be a student to serve in this position; volunteers who are looking to build skills in community organizing or who simply want to give back are also welcome. QUALIFICATIONS: * Currently attending or graduated secondary school (2 year or 4 year) with a major in social work, nutrition, public administration, political science, non-profit management or similar field. * Career focus or interest in Health and Human Services * Volunteers and Interns in our office must be at least 16 years of age ABOUT UNITED WAY GLV: The mission of United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley is to provide the leadership, convene the partnerships, and develop the resources and solutions that improve our community.
