Upon completion and hire as a full-time apprentice employee with the client, their team will partner with you, providing mentoring, professional development, and practical work experience, every step of the way.

  • Selected applicants will go through a training program that teaches them to design, create, and deliver stable and scalable software systems using modern technologies and concepts. Role Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

Apprentices will be trained on one or more below concepts and would be deployed on Project to work on the trained concepts.

  • Responsible for developing solutions for clients using appropriate software
  • Involves day-to-day configuration, build, test, support, and maintenance
  • Build and test interfaces for application development assignments. Test all code developed as per the defined quality process standard.
  • Develop user-facing applications that address the functional requirements while providing a superior user experience to the end-users
  • Develop software and integration flows for clients
  • Design, execute and automate scenarios, scripts, and procedures
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system
  • Participate in trouble shooting existing software issues and implement as per the change management process
  • Design and configure interfaces needed to transfer data between applications based on the requirements
  • Maintain the security information needed to connect with other applications
  • May involve participating in discovery and design sessions, developing wireframes and prototypes, and developing web and mobile app

A Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other field closely related to the intent of the class. Or: 2. Four (4) years of full-time, paid technical experience that demonstrates the ability to perform duties in design, development, maintenance or administration of computer applications and/or database architecture. Or: 3. Four (4) years of full-time, paid experience in Sacramento County service providing user support in technology; system, software/application and legacy troubleshooting; problem resolution; review of business processes and communication of user requirements/problems to a vendor or statewide system. Note: Education from an accredited college or university with major course work in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other field closely related to the intent of the class, may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis; 30 semester units (45 quarter units) equal one year experience. Note: If the word "experience" is referenced in the minimum qualifications, it means full-time paid experience unless the minimum qualification states that volunteer experience is acceptable. Part-time paid experience may be accumulated and pro-rated to meet the total experience requirements. Note: If the minimum qualifications include an educational or certificate/license requirement, applicants must submit proof of requirements with the application.
