IT - Helpdesk Intern

You will take ownership of:

  • Answering Helpdesk phones

  • Monitoring ticketing queue

  • Creating, assigning, updating and closing tickets

  • Following up on all open tickets and providing status to management and users

  • Following up with users and documenting in ticket

  • Escalating all issue to management and providing daily status

  • Resolving 1st level incidents

  • Setting up AV for meetings

  • Maintaining order in store room

  • Assisting in maintaining stock

  • Imaging desktops with Windows 7/Windows 10 using automated processes

  • Light hands on hardware upgrades (RAM, HD, GPU)

We expect you to have:

  • Current student status, pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.3 or above

  • Availability to work up to 24 hours per week; opening is for immediate availability

  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills

  • Resourcefulness, a sense of urgency, pro-active and customer service orientation

  • Ability to protect confidential and proprietary information of the firm

  • Self-motivated and eager to learn

You’ll be in the front lines for technical support and responsible for managing our fleet of corporate devices as well as some A/V, networking, and SaaS products. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys supporting systems with automation and security in mind, as well as providing cross-support for the other 605 offices.
