We are looking for an IT Helpdesk Engineer who thrives on helping our growing company. We need a teammate who is passionate about helping people get the most out of technology throughout their time at Asana, from setup and on-boarding, to accessing the systems they need, while keeping our services secure.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure employees are productive through seamless and efficient access to the network, hardware and software tools they need

  • Assist with maintaining proper security in all IT systems and employee tools

  • Respond and troubleshoot user and infrastructure problems

  • Support conference room voice and AV systems, printers, and phone systems

Requirements:

  • A positive, service-oriented attitude

  • Natural empathy for technology users, and the ability to anticipate their technical needs

  • Strong communication and people skills

  • A bachelor's degree and/or least 1 years of experience working in an IT Support function for a growing company

  • Experience configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting:

  • Apple macOS

  • Microsoft Windows

  • Mobile devices - iPhone and Android

  • Hosted applications including Google, Dropbox, etc.

  • Meeting room displays and audio/visual equipment

  • Interest in conquering all help desk tickets, from the very simple to the complex

  • Experience documenting IT procedures and policies

  • Able to thrive in a dynamic startup team - can define your own priorities, requirements and goals from company context

In this role you will have exceptional people skills, exceptional documenting skills, with an eager to learn attitude. What You'll Be Doing * Be the first point of contact for all IT Help Desk related issues via phone, email, or in person * Update Service Desk requests on a daily basis * Work in cooperation with the current IT staff to resolve all IT issues within the company SLA * Setup and configure New Hire accounts and hardware for local and remote users * Set up and support lab workstations and printers * Troubleshoot issues regarding all hardware and software * Install software/hardware on workstations * Create/restore workstation images for MAC's and PC's * Perform daily conference room sweeps to verify all conference room technology is functioning accordingly * Participate once a month on the on-call rotation schedule What You'll Bring to the Team * Associates Degree in IT or higher * 1-2 years of experience supporting desktops/laptops/printers * Strong oral and written communication skills * Knowledge of desktop operating systems including MAC OS.
