Warren Oil Company has an exciting immediate opportunity for an IT Help Desk Technician in our West Memphis, AR location. Under the guidance of the IT Manager, the IT Help Desk Technician will provide a vital role in supporting the plant operations at our West Memphis manufacturing and distribution facilities. This position will be responsible for providing the local office and plant operations with all IT Support and helping to assist in resolving system wide issues.

This position will be a will be a vital part of our IT Team. The West Memphis facility includes an office, multiple plants, and warehouses operations. The IT Help Desk's primary function will be to support JD Edwards and PC based users with installation, configuration, troubleshooting and hardware related issues.

IT Help Desk Technician Duties:

  • Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of workstation PCs and other computer related hardware

  • Installing and maintaining any job-specific software

  • Installing, configuring and troubleshooting telecom system

  • Maintaining all printers/scanners and assisting in future projects

  • Provide help-desk support and resolve problems to user's satisfaction

  • Maintain system configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc.

  • Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software

  • Assist with on-boarding of new users, assign users and computers to proper groups

  • Document internal procedures

  • Other duties as assigned

IT Help Desk Technician

Qualifications:
  • High School/GED. College graduate preferred.

  • A+ Certification and Network + Certification preferred but not required

  • Basic understanding of legacy phone systems and VOIP

  • Ability to solve difficult and complex problems

  • Proficient in use of Windows, based computer software.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong communication skills

Draining oil from crankcase and refilling crankcase with required amount and type of oil. Removing and replacing oil and air filters. Lubricating moving parts of diesel engine trucks and inspecting fluid level of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differentials and axle housings. Inspecting and treating coolant to specification. Inspecting and testing batteries. Checking air pressure of tires and completing tire repair and replacement services using the Tire Industry Association procedures. You will also complete repairs within your capabilities and as written. Efficiently use all shop equipment. Provide your own hand tools. All work must be completed in a safe, reasonable and responsible manner following company policies. You will be required to have a "whatever needs to be done" work ethic and attitude, be mechanically inclined, and a team player with neat clean appearance.
