This key position is focused on contributing to Buehler Global growth in market share through the development of existing and emerging markets toward maximizing sales and profitability. The position must effectively utilize The ITW Toolbox of core business

philosophies to lead business growth initiatives as a champion for strategic Market Development, Market Segmentation, Product Positioning, and value-based Sales Strategies. To exercise a functioning knowledge of market analysis, customer-driven product development,

innovation, and promotional programs toward supporting the medium to long-range growth plans of Buehler.


  • Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to end user satisfaction

  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk system

  • Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights

  • Manage and maintain backup solution and assist with file recovery

  • Maintain Wi-Fi, video and audio capabilities in all conference rooms

  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for end user hardware

  • Perform root cause analysis and make recommendations for corrections and improvements

  • Create and maintain work instructions and internal procedures

  • Assist with on\off boarding responsibilities

  • Source, configure, test and install end user related software, hardware and peripheral equipment

  • Maintain current inventory of all hardware, software and software licenses

  • Report network issues to IT Manager or LAN administrator for escalation

  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required

  • Manage and maintain the phone system

  • Additional tasks as assignment

Job Requirement:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Two years relevant technical experience preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and critical decision-making skills

  • Technical writing skills and experience documenting procedures in a clear and concise manner

  • May occasionally lift and carry boxes of supplies and/or equipment weighing up to 35 pounds
