Job Description

This position will be responsible for imaging, packing, and shipping new computers for staff members. Additionally, this role will include managing computer equipment returns as well as inventory via our asset management system.

The Fulfillment Assistant's essential duties will include but not limited to:

• The candidate will be expected to prepare laptops and desktop for user deployment. This will include unboxing, imaging, and customizing if necessary. Once completed, the technician will inventory equipment and ship to required site

• Working on new, return, and replacement computer equipment requests via our ticketing system

• Managing our Asset Management system

• Other duties as assigned

• Position is Monday-Friday starting at $20/hr

Qualifications

• 2 years Customer Service Experience

• Computer Imaging

• Computer Knowledge - including hardware repair and setup

• Ability to lift 50lbs

• Basic networking ability. Must be able to physically install network equipment, though not necessarily need to understand equipment configuration

• Strong multitasking skills

• Experience with applications common in higher education is a plus

• Must be able to problem-solve and have the patience and confidence to repeatedly instruct people on the steps to take to solve computer problems. Strong patience and troubleshooting skills

• Interpersonal skills are required. Must have the ability to listen and ask questions to diagnose and solve computer issues

• Customer Service Focused. Must be able to change quickly, as necessary.

• Strong written/documentation skills are required to write manuals and e-mails

• Ability to work both independently and with a team.

• Ability to learning new skills

• High School Diploma and/or Related discipline in Helpdesk support.

• Certifications, training programs plus computer knowledge and experience can be sufficient

• An Associate's degree in the computer field is preferable
