Position Summary:
The IT Field Engineer is responsible for providing on-site technical support and services to remote locations/clients, ensuring the optimal performance of their IT systems. This role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, installing and configuring hardware and software, and offering proactive maintenance to prevent future problems. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and systems.
Position Schedule: M-F, Day Shift
Essential Duties:
Work closely with the IT team to collaborate and coordinate on projects and operational support and deliver timely and completed tasks
Travel to client sites to provide technical support and resolve issues.
System build, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and administration
Test and debug solutions to ensure quality delivery of solutions
Maintain accurate records of all site visits, technical issues, and solutions provided.
Communicate with users, clients, and vendors to provide status of work effort and to coordinate priorities
Remote assistance of some work or management tasks
Respond to and resolve Incidents according to service level agreements and identify and resolve root problems
Contribute and maintain IT knowledge base
Maintain accurate records of all site visits, technical issues, and solutions provided.
Train end users and co-workers on subject matter expertise
Participate and coordinate process improvement opportunities
Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Troubleshoot, analyze, and escalate problems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt in fast paced environment
Ability to work well under pressure

Physical Requirements:
Work may extend occasionally after-hours, or require overnight stays
Ability to travel to CellNetix sites in personal vehicle or by flight
Daily activity is 70% sitting and 30% walking or standing.
Able to move and set up equipment on, under, and around workstations
Frequent exposure to LCD (computer monitors), repetitive motions, light lifting (<50 lbs.)
Must adhere to policies and HIPAA regulations that safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI).
May be exposed to environmental hazards and therefore must utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures when appropriate.
