What's the role?

An Experience Designer (UX) who can be hands when required as well as leading the experience workstream of projects. A holistic thinker, looking at, yet also beyond, the digital screen towards across all touchpoints that deliver on product experience. Someone who embraces empathetic research building the foundation from which to define and design people's relationship with energy.

What we need from you

We're keen to hear those who can demonstrate an experience and an ambition that's broader than 'design' alone; that extends into human-centred innovation. Along with an appreciation of the commercial landscape, we'd also hope to see some of the following on your CV:

  • Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.

  • Bachelor's Degree related to Information Technology or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in delivering, influencing, shaping direction of creation best in class user experience.

  • Experience in converting insights and requirements derived from user research, business stakeholders and data analysis into practical execution.

  • Strategic approach to problem-solving and ability to think far beyond the user interface.

  • Strong knowledge and proven practical execution of Customer Centric Design Principles.

  • Demonstratable commercial Analytical focus with a emphasis on learning, experimenting and improving.

  • Experience in designing user experience for responsive websites and mobile and tablet applications for iOS and Android as well as non-digital ecosystems.

  • Experience in designing wireframes, UX flows, customer journey map, and low and high-fidelity prototypes.

  • Experts proficiency with design tools such as: Sketch, Adobe XD, inVision Studio, Zeplin, Axure RP

  • Experience in planning and conducting user research, usability testing, interpret feedback and incorporate into future iterations.

  • Experience in facilitation of Design Workshops with a variety of stake holders at all levels of an organisation.

  • Nice to have multiple languages (English +X)

  • Strong Portfolio that your proud of that include a collection of case studies that show your capability in design.

  • Full understanding of the design and development lifecycle and a track record of launched modern responsive websites and mobile applications for iOS and Android.

  • Proven experience practice knowledge working in Agile Projects from user stories and backlog management to acceptance criteria.

  • Capable of juggling multiple projects and related complexities at the same time with a broad range of stakeholders.

Headquartered in El Segundo, California, KSEA is responsible for all U.S. distribution of endoscopes, instruments, imaging systems, electromechanical devices and OR1® integration technologies. Job Description: The Supervisor, Surgical Operational Efficiency Specialist (SOES) is an integral member of the local KARL STORZ Service team. The Supervisor (SOES) is a trained Specialist with M.I.S. devices including hand instruments and video equipment with an advanced understanding and responsibility for the integrated Operating Rooms within their assigned account. The Advanced OES will be responsible for: * Face-to-face customer support, including OR, SPD and Biomed, * Preventative maintenance and management of endoscopy products so that they are always in good working order and ready for use including documentation of their functionality * Monitoring, reporting and facilitating repair / exchange transactions * Keeping repairs and replacement equipment expenses within a predetermined budget for the account. * Training and education for the OR, SPD and supporting departments, * Designing process improvements to improve efficiencies and reduce repair costs * Identifying opportunities to reduce instrument damage and related repair costs * Gathering detailed usage and repair data * Comprehensive service and support of OR1 systems * Onsite evaluation and troubleshooting of OR1 systems and complete, timely and successful repairs and upgrades * Operate, maintain, install, service and repair complex electronic AV systems and equipment * Terminate rack and field connections, maintain uniform cable dressing and secure system connections * Physically mount AV Equipment such as PTZ Wall Cameras, LCD and Plasma Wall Displays, AV Rack Components, and Multi Purpose Monitor Display Arms. * Program and adjust system configurations on major AV components such as AV routers, scalers, converters, control processors, and touch panel devices. * Identifying and implementing reusable strategies * Communicating effectively with diverse clientele including good written and oral communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills are required. * Performing complex and time-critical tasks with optimum effectiveness and efficiency with little or no supervision in high-pressure situations. The SOES will be part of an operations team tasked with providing the customer with cost reduction initiatives and value well beyond the tasks listed above. * This role will include all aspects of the implementation of reusable M.I.S. products from training to procedural support. * The candidate will also be responsible for capturing procedural and device usage data. While analysis of the data will not be necessary, they must have a strong comprehension of the data that is collected. * In some accounts the OES will also be responsible for the transporting, cleaning and packaging of instruments after use. At its core, the OES program's goal is to manage M.I.S. devices and facilitate and expedite successful M.I.S procedures, thus allowing the surgeon and staff to focus on the patient and not on equipment and related issues.
