Job Description

IT Enterprise Applications intern is responsible for day-to-day management of one or more initiatives

within the IT Enterprise applications. The position is responsible for delivering projects across a range of

application platforms including but not limited to SAP, Concur, Coupa. The position will need to work

collaboratively with functional business area and IT partners to achieve project objectives. This is a

highly visible role with opportunity to work with leaders across different departments.

Job responsibilities

• Manage functional tasks and deliverables of the software development life cycle (SDLC) including

process definition and reengineering, high and detailed-level requirements gathering, fit/gap

analysis, functional design, testing, training, reporting, support, and continuous improvement of

business applications.

• Review any technical work done by vendors to provide guidance, feedback and anticipate issues

• Facilitate business process review meetings with subject matter experts to document and refine

business processes to maximize business efficiency

• Create high-level functional designs that are accurately documented and mapped to business or

architectural requirements and communicate those designs to the technical development teams.

• Work with Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Business Operations team members to ensure

proper application of all phases of the systems development life cycle (SDLC), and that appropriate

standards are met

• Gather and define functional, usability, reliability, and performance requirements in partnership

with users for the implementation and enhancement of software systems.

• Collaborate on several, concurrent projects, which could include requirements gathering, design,

testing, coordinating new releases or documenting projects

• Partner with project stakeholders across the business and IT by analyzing all requirements to

formulate business specifications and translate those into application functionality, deciding when

to advocate and when to compromise to arrive at a mutually acceptable solution.

• Document and execute system, performance, and user-acceptance test plans to ensure that the

system changes are error-free and meet the approved requirements and designs.

• Develop and assist project team members with project scope, estimates and detailed work plans.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a

related field.

• Experience or coursework in project management and software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical skills to gather and define functionality, usability, reliability, and performance

requirements

• Excellent problem-solving skills to provide guidance and feedback on technical work

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects

• Knowledge in SAP applications preferred

Eligibility

Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a

related field; recent grads who are within 6 months of graduation are also eligible to apply. Must be

available to work full-time Monday - Friday for 6 months between September 2024 - March 2025.

The San Francisco/Bay Area base hourly range for this internship position is $32-44/hr and can vary if outside of this location. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
