IT End User Computing Manager

Plans, organizes, coordinates, and supervises activities of personnel engaged in the design, development, implementation, and support of computer-based information systems, applications and services. Responsibilities include the development of long range configuration, equipment, budgets, and staffing plans. Maintains awareness of industry trends and active vendor relationships. Interfaces with internal and external customers.
Summary of Duties:
Plans, organizes, coordinates, and supervises IT personnel engaged in establishing, implementing, and maintaining information systems and/or in designing and implementing procedures to prevent inadvertent or deliberate disclosure, alteration or destruction of unclassified, sensitive, or classified information.
Ensures all relevant software and operating system patches are applied to desktops within established Service Level Agreement.
Manages virtual and physical computer systems, including gold images and strategy for transition to new OS versions.
Manages Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) system and endpoints.
Provides business perspective to department personnel, coordinates department activities with other information technology areas, corporate, and NSE organizations, and assures a high quality of customer service.
Develops operational plans, budgets, goals and priorities for the department and coordinates the allocation of required resources.
Effects changes in resources, plans, and procedures to facilitate achieving goals.
Identifies training requirements of personnel, develops appropriate training plans, and coordinates personnel development.
Develops processes, practices, and procedures to assure the maximum possible quality of the products and services.
May perform other duties as required.
Supervises employees and performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Conducts activities in a safe and healthy manner and works in accordance with established HS&E requirements to ensure the protection of employees, the public, and the environment. Takes actions necessary to "stop" work when an unsafe condition or action is identified. Every employee has the right and responsibility to stop work when unsafe conditions or actions are identified.

You Must Have:
Experienced professional with more than 3 years in a managerial / team leadership role within Information Technology.
At least 8 years of computing systems deployment, project management, or computer related technical activities supporting software and operating system patches, virtual and physical computer systems, including gold images and strategy for transition to new OS versions.
Bachelor's degree in the field of Business, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
Demonstrated communication skills to collaborate with all levels of management.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with managing IT personnel.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects in an organized manner to achieve results
