Position Description:

Position Summary:

Establishes the vision, leadership, and standards required to enable Reyes Holdings IT shared services to plan and execute infrastructure projects and support enterprise application solutions with excellence. Leading the RH IT infrastructure projects and enterprise application solutions organization will require building a high performance culture to help advance progress for Reyes Holdings family of businesses. Responsibilities include coordinating demand across business unit and enterprise IT teams, integrating technology requirements and resource demands into high quality project plans that enable business initiatives and architectural roadmaps, and managing organizational changes to limit the risk of business impact. The successful candidate will establish the project standards playbook that defines how a high-performing projects organization plans and executes work. The candidate will need to establish strong relationships with business unit IT leaders, partnerships with system integrators, and practices to manage demand across the enterprise. A candidate's ability to navigate across multi-business units will be the key to ensuring that the projects organization delivers on its commitments.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

Oversees Infrastructure Projects Function

  • Sets the vision, strategy and leadership for the IT infrastructure projects organization for Reyes Holdings IT

  • Manages relationships with all Business unit and corporate IT teams to ensure project plans are robust while technologies leverage architectural roadmaps and standards

  • Develops the IT project management playbook and ensures all projects adhere to that standard

  • Plans and executes all infrastructure projects required to enable integration of Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Oversees a standard set of service delivery tools and processes that will provide the right level of governance for RH IT teams, and that will support the goal of project delivery excellence

  • Develops relationships with integration partners to ensure skilled resources can ramp to meet our demand

  • Incorporates integration partners into the overarching IT projects sourcing and demand planning model

  • Oversees and monitors integration partner and internal team performance and challenges

  • Effectively manages project delivery risks including contingencies and mitigation strategies

Business Planning & Project Management

  • Partners with the Finance organization to support rigorous business case development, accurate project estimating and planning, and financial risk and opportunity management for our projects portfolio

  • Accountable for the infrastructure project delivery that helps enable broader business unit initiatives

  • Defines and executes work planning and demand management practices enabling alignment with business unit IT plans and delivery expectations

  • Ensures accurate project estimates and contingencies are developed

  • Ensures transparent project and financial status is communicated effectively to all stakeholders

  • Incorporates quality assurance, risk management, and security into all project delivery requirements

  • Integrates Dev Ops into the overall IT service delivery capability and IT projects playbook

Establishing & Implementing Standards

  • Ensures IT standards and processes (i.e., IT Governance, Technology Architecture, Standard Processes, etc.) for IT project delivery are defined and drive continuous improvement

  • Supports the broader organization through financial planning activities including annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, planning resources, and following all corporate policies and procedures

  • Defines processes and organizational structure of the Infrastructure Projects and Enterprise Solutions team

  • Hands on experience with multiple project delivery techniques

  • Experience managing enterprise application portfolios throughout the full life cycle

  • Experience setting the strategic direction and performing annual planning for one or more functions

  • Leading M&A information technology integration projects across a global geographical business

  • Experience with IT outsourcing and vendor performance management

  • Strong process management, negotiating, influencing and problem resolution skills

  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

  • Knowledge of a food and beverage distribution business and requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to assess business partner requirements and creatively approach solutions

  • Communicate technology and application life cycles to business leaders and organizations

  • Accomplish results through others by leveraging relationships and effective controls

  • Graduate/post graduate degree

Position Requirements:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Deep experience in networking, hardware, operating systems, cloud, middleware and database technologies

  • Ten (10+) years of infrastructure engineering, operations, or projects experience with a minimum of five (5) years at a leadership level

  • Five (5+) years overseeing infrastructure technology projects associated with upgrading IT's core capabilities

  • Successful track record managing across a matrixed organization required to deliver on complex projects

  • Experience managing cross-functional, outsourced, and matrixed teams and resources.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in the language of the business

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technology field

  • Ability to travel as necessary (less than 10% of time).

  • Exudes the natural and political wherewithal to cross organizational/cultural boundaries while establishing creditability and perceived value.

This position is responsible for enterprise technology standards for the Reyes Holdings Information Technology group. It is a technical role directly facilitating the collaboration of engineering and operations teams in various technical areas, ensuring the delivery of enterprise technology platforms and services that align with enterprise standards and technology roadmaps. The candidate will provide a successful track record on enabling change through technology and the ability to dive deeply into underlying businesses and associated technologies. The individual will work closely with the business IT, planning, engineering, and operations to create solutions that scale and can be leveraged and supported broadly for a fast-growing global company. The role will work with Reyes corporate IT groups to ensure compliance with corporate processes, policies, and standards. The ideal candidate must have both leadership and technical prowess to effectively and efficiently manage a broad range of technologies and collaborate with cross-functional and virtual teams. Position Requirements: Required Skills and Experience * Minimum of 8 years in the IT Industry including technical support, engineering and/or IT project management. * Minimum of 5 years' experience of leading and managing IT projects and virtual teams within a technical engineering, operations or shared services environment * Recent working knowledge and management skills for the cloud, server, network, storage, virtualization, data center, backups, end-user devices, application delivery, data protection, backups, middleware, and identity. * Recent working knowledge, skill and/or experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365), Linux, Cisco technologies (router, switches), and VMware virtualization technologies. * Recent working knowledge of evolving IT technologies and processes (DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, Internet of Things, etc.) * Effective influencing and negotiating skills. * Ability to understand business priorities and to contribute to the development of pragmatic roadmaps that align with business and IT priorities and requirements. * Capability and experience to provide technical and project leadership of large IT project independently as well as participating in multi-phase projects. * Strong ability to clearly document system design elements including the use of appropriate documentation tools * Ability to gather and summarize product information, quotations, and technical design information from multiple IT landscapes. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences * Team player, able to work with other IT teams in a dynamic, fast moving IT Department. * Ability to analyze data and produce management level reports to enable quick and accurate decision making. * Ability to work extended hours or weekends as necessary. * All other duties as assigned. * This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
