This position has accountability for all aspects of IT strategy and delivery for a $830M Global Honeywell Sensing & Internet of Things business, with all activities and initiatives aligned to support business improvement and profitable growth while delivering IT compliance, customer service, change management and cost efficiency. Scope of this role also includes Digital Leadership to help drive further software functionality and external sales by being a customer reference showcase for Honeywell Connected Distribution & Connected Worker solutions. The CIO/Business Partner will be a proactive member of the both the Business Leadership Team and the Safety & Productivity IT Leadership Team. The selected candidate will travel 20-30% of the time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leverage a deep understanding of our SPS customers and the competitive advantage the business needs to define IT hardware and software operations that achieve a differentiated cost to serve.

  • Partner with IT's Shared Services and Centers of Expertise teams to deliver IT solutions that meet business requirements.

  • Ensuring we have robust operations, security, policies, processes and practices in place with the right controls.

  • Creating security practices that protect infrastructure, products and the connected platform.

  • Accelerating and executing our ERP roadmap and meeting key milestones.

  • Ensuring on-time deployments of CRM, the contact center, eCommerce, SAP HANA, Breakthrough Initiatives (BI - Analytics) and other key IT priorities.

  • Ensuring we have IT asset visibility, controls and productivity drivers in place.

  • The IT Business Partner is accountable for the financial integrity and alignment of IT investments in support of one or more business and/or functional areas, maximizing business value of global and local initiatives.

  • The Business Partner is also accountable for ensuring that initiatives are implemented and supported in accordance with the defined technology guidelines, corporate compliance, and security guidelines.

  • The IT Business Partner responsible may also build and lead productive and collaborative high-performing cross-functional teams that are aligned to key business goals.

  • Responsible for managing a team of IT Business Partners and/or IT support personal, providing coaching, consulting, and motivation to maximize organizational performance.

  • Communicates IT strategy and operating model, can translate into the functional strategy for the organization.

  • Bachelor degree


  • Leadership experience in two or more Information Technology, Engineering or Business functional areas

  • Excellent leadership communication and executive presence

  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate new technology into business value

  • Creation of result-oriented Management Operating System

  • Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver on complex situations or problems
