Position Description

As a Development and Operations (DevOps) Engineer on our IT Applications team, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Managing infrastructure projects and processes

  • Working directly with DevOps team and DevOps manager to test system integrity

  • Testing implemented designs

  • Building and testing automation tools for infrastructure provisioning

  • Handling code deployments in all environments

  • Monitoring metrics and developing ways to improve

  • Providing technical guidance and educating other team members on development and operations

  • Brainstorming for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery

  • Consulting with peers for feedback during testing stages

  • Building, maintaining and monitoring configuration standards

  • Maintaining day-to-day management and administration projects

  • Managing CI and CD tools with team

  • Documenting and designating various processes and updating existing processes

  • Improving infrastructure development and application development

  • Following all best practices and procedures as established by company

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering or related field

  • 2+ years' experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field

  • Experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations

  • Experience with Microsoft IIS, MS SQL, JavaScript, .NET, Git, Azure

  • Up-to-date on latest industry trends

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manager time efficiently

Position Description As a Machine Operations Engineer, you will use skills related to sustaining and improving production manufacturing processes as part of a cross-functional team. * Develop and sustain manufacturing processes * Debug manufacturing processes and equipment via root cause analysis * Run, observe and expedite shop orders * Develop and update engineering documents such as process maps, process FMEA, Manufacturing/Quality Instructions, test methods, drawings, and test reports * Collaborate with the Production team to identify capabilities and capacity * Collaborate with the Engineering team for fixturing design and development, tolerancing, and design for manufacturing * Collaborate with tooling design teams (MIM, Stamping, Molding, etc.) * Investigate new tooling, materials, manufacturing processes, and technologies * Research and qualify new suppliers and vendors Position Requirements * 1-2 years of relevant Engineering work experience * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent) * Experience with manufacturing equipment and processes * Experience with computer-aided design (i.e. SolidWorks), spreadsheets, scheduling programs, and word processing * Excellent technical writing * Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) * Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) * Working knowledge of a variety of materials and mechanical designs * Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams * Effective oral and written communication skills * Technical aptitude and detail oriented Preferred * Experience in the medical device industry * Understanding of manufacturing and quality standards, including FDA regulations and ISO quality systems * Experience with software such as NetWeaver/Product Lifecycle Management * Experience with Minitab or other statistical analysis software * Leadership or project management experience * Excellent organization, communication and documentation skills Benefits * Training and mentorship with ongoing learning and development courses * On-campus wellness activities * Comprehensive medical and dental coverage * Education reimbursement program * 401(k) program with employer match * Generous vacation accrual and paid holiday schedule Applied Medical Distribution Corporation Rancho Santa Margarita CA
