Barnes has an exciting and career building 6-month opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our Information Technology team as Intern, Information Technology. Core Responsibilities:

Support all PC workstations throughout the organization and provide technical support to the user
Lead PC replacement plan project for local division(s)
Support local telephone and voicemail system.
Daily maintenance and problem resolution via Corporate Helpdesk, operating system patches and software upgrades, and routine hardware configuration.
Participate in key projects related to security, OS upgrades, active directory and other network/data center improvements in compliance with IT security standards and policies.
Able to assess current needs and requirements and develop roadmap for solution(s).
Support the end user with Office 365 & MFA application(s).
Create / Disable Active Directory accounts and e-Mail accounts

Qualifications:

Strong project management and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task on a wide variety of duties and projects
Self-starter with the ability to manage ambiguity and demonstrate results
Time management and planning skills to meet critical deadlines
Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
Excellent computer skills required including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Customer service skills/experience is a plus
Collaborative and a team player

Education Requirements:

Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university as a sophomore or above, pursuing a bachelor's degree or in a master's degree program studying Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, or another closely related field of study.
