The IT Cyber Security Lead provides technical and process leadership for Electric Boat's IT Cyber Security and Compliance Program.
The successful candidate will work with a joint team of Electric Boat Information Technology, EB Security and the IT service provider(s) to implement, monitor and improve Electric Boat's Cyber Security Program.Responsibilities include: Work with EB Management to define and communicate executive level Cyber security/compliance strategy. Develop roadmap of IT projects and overall process improvements to execute on the strategy Take a leadership role for key IT-Security projects such as improved Secure Coding Practices, Identity and Access Management(IAM)
Responsibilities also include oversight and execution of on-going compliance activities Work with the Electric Boat work force to prepare risk assessments and security authorizationdocumentation Work with Cyber Security Team to review processes and implement process improvements andcontribute to Risk Based Assessments of Electric Boat's cyber security program Review reports and presentations for IT and Security Management and support cyber securityaudits Work with Service provider to assess/verify on-going compliance with existing controls; identify areas where compliance requires improvement; coordinate changes to procedures/practices and
Minimum of eight years relevant experience (Cyber Security or compliance)
Engineering, Computer Science, MIS preferred.
