At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.
Collect financial and operational data from the Government project team and stakeholders
Clean, analyze and align the data to the TBM taxonomy
Identify IT operational measures that can be used as cost drivers
Allocate IT WCF direct and indirect costs, across the TBM taxonomy, on the basis of operational measures
Validate all work with Government stakeholders
Transfer all data into a cost SW tool (e.g., Apptio, CostPerform)
Document all work in report and brief formats
Facilitate stakeholder communications and analytical approach/result validation sessions, as needed
Support generation of ideas for enhancing the tool's capabilities via the TBM framework
Support training of Government personnel in the cost tool and TBM
Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).
Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.
Activity Based Costing experience required
Ability to design, develop, implement and maintain an IT WCF cost reimbursable model using a cost SW tool (e.g. Apptio, CostPerform) and TBM best practices
Ability to independently work efficiently and effectively communicate progress to the GT and Government project team on all matters related to the project
Ability to organize and conduct stakeholder meetings to facilitate the development of project tasks
Ability to present to large audiences and communicate effectively
Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field.
Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.
U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.
Travel may be required.
Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.
Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
