Supports the Professional Services Category with a focus on IT Consulting category management, including strategy execution, internal relationship management, and contract negotiations. Contributes to robust global category strategy and plan.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Helps develop multi-year category strategy and plan including industry trends, market dynamics, and key save opportunities across supply, demand, and process.

  • Collaborates with business stakeholders to identify and implement new opportunities while also troubleshooting issues and helping to drive understanding of the procurement process

  • Runs RFP processes and negotiations, managing complex global agreements and effectively leading cross-functional teams

  • Performs all duties in accordance with prescribed regulatory compliance guidelines.

  • Identifies and facilitates strategies for complex category, aligning them with corporate strategy and user needs

  • Provide monthly financial reporting and analysis on key Procurement metrics

  • Identify risks and opportunities related to achieving financial objectives, working with process partners to mitigate risks and realize opportunities

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years Professional Services category management experience, with a successful track record completing complex RFPs, cost saving initiatives, and contract negotiations.

  • Experience in IT Consulting is preferred.

  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem solving skills

  • Proven self-starter who can work independently and with teams, effectively juggle multiple priorities, and has a strong track record of delivering outstanding results

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven negotiation skills with a track record of completing complex deals with measurable saves and value

  • Ability to influence cross-functionally

  • Personal resilience to work within an extremely fast-paced, ambiguous environment

VIEW JOBS 12/10/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-10T00:00 For State Street's Network Support Center will provide SEV "1" critical and SEV "2" urgent incident management with immediate response, real-time remediation, escalation and notification of events. Responsible for managing the overall duties of our managed service partners with the goal of one hour restoration of service for business impacting incidents. Ensure that the managed service provider provides the technical expertise for each event, incident, problem and change within service levels. Provide governance for vendor's ticket/problem queues. Monitor ticket aging and event monitoring processes performed by the MSP's. Responsibilities: * Utilize software and hardware tools to perform critical and urgent incident coordination and manage the appropriate support partners to provide problem management for all network platforms. (Voice, data, wireless and security) * Escalation point to manage all business impacting critical and urgent incidents to restoration of service. * Monitor and manage incident, problem and change ticket queues to identify items and/or escalation candidates. * Provide interface between MSP's and other State Street IT support groups (System, Engineering, Storage, application development etc…) * Update and train the MSP with all SSC business, technical and operational processes * Review all RFO (Reason for Outage) write-ups from the MSP to ensure that they have the appropriate information. (Who, What, When, Where, Why and How) * Provide assistance and guidance to the MSP for any network related incidents. * Complete goals / self assessments / PMPs and any other human resource requested documents within the allotted timeframe dictated by GHS on department management.
