Overview
ARMA-Global is currently pursuing a qualified candidate to serve as a Configuration Manager for the Technology Integration Support Cooperative supporting Design, Development, Engineering, Integration, Testing and Implementation and Support Services for critical technologies, supporting multi-domain services and solutions across the Joint Forces community.

Configuration Manager (WIEM09)

Responsibilities
The Configuration Manager supports assigned projects and programs across the ARMA portfolio supporting Special Operations Forces. They are responsible for configuration management (CM) of capabilities, developmental and operational systems. They will work with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to create and maintain configuration baselines and support capability development, system sustainment and operations. Ultimately, they will implement CM discipline for the entire life cycle of systems from initial requirements/capabilities baselines to system end-of-life, providing leadership Configuration Item status reports along the way. The successful candidate will be motivated; team oriented; and have a drive to make a difference in supporting warfighting capabilities.
Job Duties include:
Executing and managing Integration Configuration Control Board type-activities in a periodic basis (e.g., monthly) and Out-of-Cycle basis (e.g., emergency
Using or creating processes to implement CM policies and procedures.
Developing or modifying CM plans, policies, and procedures to streamline CM functions
Performing change control and configuration audits
Reviewing design release documents for completeness, authorizations, and system updates
Developing configuration and data management documentation based on program requirements
Documenting and performing hardware and software version control processes, policies, and procedures
Monitoring and maintaining version control of product build scripts and procedures
Establishing and maintaining libraries or repositories for Projects, Programs, document, and software
Provide CM process training to program team, and holding them accountable to compliance
Ensure processes, products, and customer deliverables standardization across the portfolio
Participate in design reviews, audits, scheduling, budgeting, etc.
Participate in special projects as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Required:
Experience with and/or understanding of one or more of the following CM standards:
SAE EIA-649 Configuration Management Standard
International for Standardization (ISO) 10007:2017
Quality Management
Project Management Professional (PMP)
Information Technology infrastructure Library (ITIL)
Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)
Experience in the five CM functions:
Configuration Planning and Management
Configuration Identification
Configuration Change Management
Configuration Status Accounting
Configuration Verification and Audit
Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment as it applies to CM integration.
Experience communicating CM status to Project and Program Management
Software Configuration Management experience: Knowledge of licensing models
Excellent skills with Microsoft suite of tools (MS Word, Access, Excel, etc.).
Detail oriented and organized
Must be proficient with SharePoint to operate in a pseudo-Knowledge Manager role, secondary to managing Configuration and Change Management functions
Must be able to operate in a variety of systems/services include DoD SharePoint-based Intelink, GitLab, Git, SharePoint, MS 365
Must have a passion to automate outcomes via workflows where possible for process efficiency
Desired:
Certification: SAE EIA 649-1A-2020, Configuration Management Requirements for Defense Contractors
Project Management Professional certification
Experience with, or exposure to CM in the Cloud (AWS)
Knowledge of and familiarity with configuration management software applications, and DoD and/or Air Force standards for software management and accountability.
IT Systems background a plus
DoD, Combatant Command (COCOM), Special Operations (SOF), and Air Force experience

DoDI 8570.01m Certification required (IAT-II compliant): Minimum Security + CE, preferred within 6 months of hire.
Must have an active current Secret clearance and be able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.
