U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. ("USPh"), which was founded in 1990, is a publicly held company which operates approximately 580+ outpatient physical and/or occupational therapy clinics across 42 states. The Company's clinics provide post-operative care for a variety of orthopedic-related disorders and sports-related injuries, treatment for neurologically-related injuries, rehabilitation of injured workers and preventative care.
We are currently searching for an experienced Full Time IT Policy Compliance Specialist.
The IT Policy Compliance Specialist position is responsible for the implementation and monitoring of IT standard operating procedures throughout the Company's partnerships to ensure that partnerships are in full compliance with Company policies to pass internal and external audits. The ability to work independently, manage own daily schedule and multi-task is of key importance. This candidate must be able to interact with all levels of management, have good verbal and written communication skills and very diligent with follow up.
Performs audits on a routine basis to ensure partnerships are in full compliance with the Company's documented standard operating procedures.
Identifying audit issues and working with IT to resolve them in a timely manner. Documents the results of audit activities. Works closely with new partnerships to ensure compliance with the Company's standard operating procedures.
Updates documentation for IT related processes and procedures. Must be able to meet deadlines with regards to timely audits. Works closely with the VP and Director of IT on special projects on an as needed basis. Ability to travel domestically 10-15% as needed.
Job Requirements/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of work experience in a related field.
Minimum 3 years of compliance/technical experience. Experience ensuring SOX and HIPPA compliance is a plus. Ability to work independently, manage own daily schedule, prioritize activities and multitask.
Good interpersonal skills as well as oral and written communication skills. Good documentation skills especially with Excel. Ability to interact with all levels of management.
