• The IT Clinical Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and troubleshooting of clinical IT systems and applications within a healthcare organization. This position will be directly aligned to Epic's Ambulatory, Urgent Care, and Triage solutions. Ambulatory is Epic's solution designed for ambulatory clinics. This position also encompasses urgent care and triage solutions. The role involves working to develop and deploy clinical IT systems and applications - managing the implementation process and ensuring that all systems are running smoothly. The Clinical Systems Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving escalated technical issues. The ideal candidate will have triage or call center experience, and a familiarity with triage or call center workflows and future needs. They will also have familiarity with physician practices' workflows, hospital outpatient departments and patient experiences. They will also have an understanding of a wide array of integration points, including scheduling, lab, radiology, billing, and inpatient clinical workflows.

Skills

• Basic understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows

• Knowledge of at least one clinical IT systems, including electronic health records (EHRs), picture archiving and communication systems (PACS), laboratory information systems (LIS), and other related applications.
