Purpose and Objective

The IT Change Delivery Manager is primarily responsible for tracking and leading IT change delivery from initial demand to launch. This role ensures that all change is delivered in alignment with relevant polices, standards and business priorities with minimum disruption to the business. The IT Change Delivery Manager will achieve this by establishing and implementing clear operating delivery processes, reporting, and procedures around Demand Management, Service Acceptance Criteria and Change Management. The role will strive to establish effective relationships with key stakeholders and resolve any barriers to execution where they exist to enable smooth delivery into operations. The IT Change Delivery Manager is required to be onsite in our Stamford, CT office 2 - 3 days a week.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Drive resource demand management including the prioritizing, scoping, reporting, and resource allocation across the internal team, partners, and suppliers for incoming delivery requests from the various stakeholder groups.
  • Agree to end-to-end technology delivery plans with Project teams based on approved solution design requirements. Promoting appropriate standards of technology best practice and controlling the integrity of the solution’s configuration.
  • Responsible for defining and implementing service acceptance criteria, which includes establishing controls around design, service levels, cost, disaster recovery, testing, early life support and information security.
  • Ensure all technology production changes are reviewed, assessed, and approved prior to deployment. This includes ownership of the single forward schedule of change to enable the effective identification and management of barriers and dependencies.
  • Responsible for and develop relationships with key business and technical engineering stakeholders enabling an efficient and effective delivery model, and be the lead for resolution management where barriers to execution exist.
  • Maintain a performance reporting framework demonstrating the effectiveness of Technology Delivery processes and identify any areas for improvement, acting on any improvements as part of the transition management improvement portfolio.

Requirements

  • ITIL, ISO/IEC20000, COBIT ITSM Management Frameworks.
  • Prince2 and/or Agile Qualification is desirable.
  • Academic degree in a field such as computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of IT Service management processes including Portfolio Management, Service Readiness and Change Management.
  • Good understanding of modern infrastructure technologies including networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, middleware, data, security, development tools and cloud-based solutions.
  • 5 years’ experience in a technical change delivery management role.
  • Infrastructure experience with track record of effective delivery management, and reporting.
  • Proven background in writing IT Service Management operating processes and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage and influence a broad range of individuals across various internal and external businesses and support functions.
  • Superb attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills.
  • Capable of providing executive summary level communication as well as detailed policies, practices, and guidelines for individual contributors.
  • Ability to work independently, lead multiple activities, prioritize, and manage a high-volume of tasks, deadlines, requirements, and decisions.

The expected hiring compensation range for this position is $97,837 - $124,520 USD annually. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The current bonus target for the position is 15% of the base salary with a stretch to twice the target, modified for corporate and individual performance.
