Summary:
The Information Technology (IT) Business Administrator works closely with Information Technology leadership and is responsible for account management for customers. Provides contract support to the Vice President/CIO of Covenant Medical Group which includes maintaining contracts through analysis and interpretation and maintaining a strong business relationship with multiple departments within Covenant HealthCare. The primary responsibilities of an Information Technology Business Administrator is to manage the accounts for customers, create/improve processes for tracking and managing accounts and assist as needed with contracting.

Responsibilities:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Builds and maintains collaborative relationships with customers and those in the Information Technology department.
Prepare, present, and monitor regular progress reports on contracting activities to Administration, Compliance and Legal. Anticipate issues related to contracting activities.
Be the point person to answer questions with providers, compliance, legal, and Administration concerning contracting.
Designs, develops, and maintains process documentation using appropriate tools.
Provides documentation on system changes and provides training, if applicable.
Troubleshoots issues and initiates escalation procedures with minimal supervision and provides proposals for resolution of the issues found.
Management and tracking of key elements for managing accounts.
Tracks projects, tickets and other needs for customers.
Assists with contracting, as needed.
Provides account details to customers.
Works closely with Information Technology leadership and Finance.
Actively participates in meetings, as needed.
Provides status updates on work to leadership.

REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in healthcare, information technology or business administration required. In lieu of bachelor's degree, a minimum of four (4) years medical field experience required and willing to obtain a bachelor's degree within four (4) years. 3 years Healthcare, Business, or Information Systems experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Demonstrates knowledge of processes with cost management and monitoring.
Should have strong working knowledge of hospital / office operations in the organization.
Strong computing skills including a working knowledge of Word, Power Point, and Excel, web browsing, and email applications and/or a willingness to learn.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated capabilities in follow-up activities.
