Robert Half Technology is seeking multiple IT Business consultants for a rapidly growing New Mexico based organization. The IT Business consultant is a full time role responsible for consulting key stakeholders, IT and the business on various strategic initiatives.

The IT Business Consultant will :

Drives consultative value creation by applying expertise in various areas like integration of digital data transformation applications; Infrastructure Security; Data Analytics; Claims; Provider; and/or Tele health;

This position will be key to formulating, enhancing and maturing the application strategies and the critical product road mapping;

Functions as the IT functional expert in assigned areas to provide consultative support to IT application leaders in the assigned areas;

Works closely with IT application leaders to identify and facilitate the achievement of key measurable outcomes that achieve strategic value;

Will be responsible for relationship building, process evaluation, developing functional requirements, process improvement, scope management, project support, charting future direction, ROI analysis, RFP process, overall selection of solutions to solve business problems and road mapping;

Will perform independent research of subject matter areas, to provide insight into possible value creation opportunities with the use of technology;

Understands business goals, priorities and strategies and collaborates with Technical Architecture Service Level Management to develop technology based solutions aligned to run-the-business, grow-the-business and transform-the-business that meet business;

Provides highly-valued strategic consulting level support and guidance and acts as a "trusted advisor" and key contact for IT and business executives;

Other duties as needed.

Job Requirements

The successful IT Business consultant will have:

Core experience, qualifications and skills:

Bachelors degree in IT or business related field, Masters degree or doctorate preferred

10 years of IT and/or Business experience with at least 5 years in a consultative role;

Broad understanding of the technology industry, including current and emerging Digital Solutions, Infrastructure Security, Data Analytics and/ or Healthcare industry knowledge of Care management, provider or Tele health or experience

managing technology-enabled business change;

Program /Project management experience;

Experience developing and presenting formal business plans and/or business proposals;

Executive presence and exceptional presentation and interpersonal communication skills;

Financial acumen around ROI and NPV analysis
