The IT Business Analyst position involves acting as a bridge between IT and operational departments, with a primary focus on documenting and analyzing requirements for the company's ERP system, other applications, and business intelligence platforms. The goal is to improve business processes, enhance data quality, and ensure efficient delivery of new system functionalities, reports, and data analytics. Responsibilities include creating, refining, and reviewing requirements, documenting existing processes, developing data dictionaries and models, participating in meetings, developing and executing test plans, communicating changes to the development team, providing staff training, and offering project management support. The role requires travel to Tijuana, Mexico for business purposes and demands capabilities such as understanding organizational business issues, effective communication, application and database design knowledge, problem-solving skills, process improvement, multitasking, maintaining high performance standards, and fostering effective working relationships. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, 4+ years of experience as a business analyst, familiarity with ERP systems in manufacturing environments, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Visio, Power BI, and knowledge of Agile and Kanban methodologies.
