IT Audit Manager - Financial Services

We're seeking an experienced Senior IT Audit Manager to join our leading financial institution in Boston. This pivotal role will drive our IT audit strategy, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures and regulatory compliance across our technology infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute comprehensive IT audit plans, including risk assessments and SOX ITGC testing
• Manage pre- and post-implementation project audits for critical technology initiatives
• Supervise and mentor a team of IT auditors, fostering professional growth and high-performance standards
• Collaborate with senior management to communicate audit findings and implement risk mitigation strategies
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and cybersecurity threats relevant to financial services
• Enhance audit processes through innovative use of data analytics and technology-driven methodologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's preferred
• CISA certification required; additional certifications (CISM, CRISC) highly valued
• 7+ years of progressive experience in IT audit or technology roles within financial services
• Proven expertise in IT frameworks (COBIT, COSO, NIST, ISO 27001/22301)
• Strong knowledge of banking technology infrastructure, including Linux, Windows, Oracle, and SQL Server
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing and developing audit teams
• Proficiency in risk-based audit approaches and regulatory compliance requirements
