Under general supervision, the IT Asset Technician will carry out assigned tasks to support the department's Asset Management program. The IT Asset Technician will be responsible to assist with day-to-day asset management activities as well as with asset procurement and dispositions. The IT Asset Technician will follow established departmental procedures.
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
One year of college course work completed. Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and working towards a degree in technology.
Any combination of educational experience and/or work experience which required the use of a phone and a computer.
Prior customer service experience and/or prior warehouse and inventory control experience.
Basic computer skills, including word processing and email. Ability to identify computer components and peripherals.
Proficient in MS Office suite, basic to intermediate knowledge of computer hardware.
