Position SummaryThe IT Asset Manager is responsible for building out a new IT asset management function for Triumph Financial. In addition to building the function, they will oversee and manage all IT hardware assets across the enterprise, including end-user hardware and data center assets, creating, maintaining, and improving Asset Management processes and procedures, and maintaining inventory records and warranties. The IT Asset Manager will manage the entire lifecycle of IT assets, including due diligence, ongoing asset management, and disposition and partner closely with the service helpdesk team.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesBuild the IT Asset Management function for Triumph FinancialManage the IT hardware asset inventory, including end-user and data center hardware, to track identification, location, and lifecycle status.Coordinate with other IT teams and business units to support their locations and associated projects.Develop and execute governance to normalize, reconcile, and ensure the accuracy of asset data in FreshService.Use ITAM best practices, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and metrics reporting to propose efficiency, process improvements, and cost-saving measures to better manage inventory.Perform IT asset management activities per IT policies and procedures across multiple locations.Arrange purchasing, receiving, stocking, tracking, and distribution of IT assets; determine and maintain equipment stock levels.Manage the IT asset disposal process, ensuring adherence to security and data disposal requirements.Conduct regular physical inventories of IT assets and perform searches for equipment not found during an inventory/audit.Develop processes and procedures to ensure the accuracy of asset inventories.Conduct and report software asset reconciliation to ensure compliance.Stay current with advances in technologies and ITAM best practices.Work closely with the Configuration Manager when appropriate and follow Configuration Management protocols.Experience & EducationThe successful candidate will possess business operations experience and skills, leadership expertise, analytical and critical thinking skills, and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the following:Bachelor's degree in information technology, Business Systems, Supply Chain Management, Asset Management, Computer Science, or equivalent educational/work experience preferred.5+ years of IT software and hardware knowledge3+ years of IT asset management leadership

Broad knowledge of IT Asset Management and IT concepts, disciplines, best practices, and methodologies. ITAM certification is a plus.Experience with ITSM platforms; FreshService experience a plus.ITIL Foundations or higher certification preferred.Skills & Abilities RequiredProven ability and experience in executing strategic asset management processes successfully.Knowledge of industry best practices in management of IT assets including common lifecycle states and processes.Self-motivated with the ability to work individually or in a team.Meticulous with a focus on data accuracy.Strong verbal/written skills and the ability to effectively interface with internal business clients, internal auditors, external vendors, and senior management.Ability to multitask and manage work effectively by prioritizing own assignments, schedules, and meetings, resulting in timely completion of work.High degree of personal integrity.Ability to receive and follow instructions given by management.Ability to develop solutions to unique problems.Ability to regularly travel between Dallas and Coppell sites during the work week.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here may be encountered while performing the essential functions of this job.
