Responsibilities:

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) is seeking a IT Asset and Support Specialist to join our team. You will serve as the primary representative responsible for all asset management and storage within the Lorton facilitate. The Asset Manager will ensure the hardware and tracking services are align to all requests and collaborate with our customers.

Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:

• Manage and maintain the IT asset management database, including tagging equipment and performing any necessary data entry

• Develop and maintain an asset management plan

• Develop and implement new inventory procedures to improve accuracy

• Communicate with IT team and customer team members across multiple areas and all shipping vendors and freight companies

• Collect all necessary receipts and documentation for Business Operations Manager

• Works with Purchasing to address discrepancies in issued PO's; changes orders as necessary

• Ingress and document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory database

• Create and generate detailed reports regarding IT equipment inventory

• Ensure 100% tracking, chain of custody, and safeguarding of all IT hardware inventory

• Partner with physical security to establish and monitor procedures for asset deployment

• Organize and monitoring storage and distribution of IT equipment

• Lift up to 50lbs

• Receive shipments into warehouse, bring into inventory

• Install IT peripherals (monitors, keyboards, mouse) for customers

• Maintain inventory of all office equipment and IT equipment

• Provides basic level 1 IT support and troubleshooting

Qualifications:

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in asset management, logistics, and supply chain management planning, design, and operations

• Level 1 IT support experience

• Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques

• An analytical mind with strong attention to detail

• Customer service skills, Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Ability to multitask efficiently

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline

Clearance Requirements:

• TS/SCI
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
