Hanger, Inc. has an opening for an IT Asset and Procurement Analyst. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of the Company's IT Department purchasing, asset, and financial management goals. This position is accountable for the organization's IT hardware and software purchasing as well as assisting with the management of IT assets, software, and contracts. The principal function of this position is to provide a quality customer service experience for purchasing, tracking, and maintenance of the overall IT asset, vendor and budget responsibilities.

Your Impact

  • Provides an excellent customer service experience when interfacing with our internal and external customers

  • Handles the full life-cycle of IT purchases from quote to delivery; including purchases requiring a contract.

  • Reviews, uploads, and processes incoming IT invoices for approval and payment

  • Responsible for optimizing IT purchasing processes and end user workflows

  • Obtains competitive bids to ensure costs remain under control and to keep our vendors competitive (payment terms, shipping costs, contract length, renewal costs, maintenance costs, etc.)

  • Creates shipping labels for internal support team shipments to ensure asset control

  • Coordinates tracking physical audits, asset audits, and ensuring the secure destruction of retired assets

  • Maintains an accurate inventory of software licensing

  • Ensures maintenance & support contract renewals are negotiated and processed timely

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 year of related purchasing, asset management or financial experience, preferably in a large corporate, distributed company

Preferred

  • Bachelors degree

  • Completion of IAITAM Certification Courses such as; CAMP, CSAM, CHAMP, CMAM, CITAD, CAMSE and CITAM

  • Experience with utilizing an ITSM for work request management system

  • Experience in IT procurement or a subset of IT procurement

  • Work experience in a company faced with HIPAA and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance a plus

The IT Procurement and Asset Manager is responsible for leading a dynamic team and managing the success of the Company's IT Department purchasing, asset, and financial management goals. This position will be accountable for the daily and long-term strategic management of software and technology related hardware within the organization. The IT Procurement and Asset Manager will also develop or improve procedures for tracking company assets throughout their lifecycles. Your Impact * Oversee, mentor, and direct ITPAM team members. * Manage vendor relationships and negotiations, securing the best possible price and service guarantee. * Provide operational support and oversight for contract negotiations, amendments, and new contracts models. * Identify and optimize procurement and asset tracking by leveraging automation with technology. * Work with internal stakeholders on financial initiatives and planning, discussion, and communication. * Compile and analyze internal KPIs, contracts, and operational metrics to make decisions. * Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure assets, contracts, and purchasing processes are in compliance and reported appropriately. * Support team workload during high service volume or project delivery. * Collaborate cross functionally to investigate and/or provide solutions for escalations or service issues. * Deliver premier customer service and maintain customer service excellence for the team. Minimum Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Technology related field, Supply Chain, Business, or Finance. * 10 years of experience in of Procurement and/or Asset Management, preferably in the IT space. * 5 years of direct management experience, preferably in Procurement, Asset Management or IT.
