SALARY
The minimum salary is $84,618.56 annually.
This position is not eligible for overtime (exempt); however, the city has a compensatory time leave program for employees that grants leave time for hours worked in excess of forty hours.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The purpose of this classification is to serve as an Information Technology (IT) program and project manager, developing and managing multiple simultaneous technology projects for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government.
This position leads the team responsible for implementation, management, and support of LFUCG's business-critical applications across the enterprise. This includes configuration and customization of workflows and reports, upgrade management, vendor interaction, database administration, application implementation, and data integrity.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in information technology, business, or another related field
Six (6) years of related experience
Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manages information technology programs and projects through to operation
Directs the software and applications section for the enterprise
Serves as the IT Cyber Security Awareness manager, overseeing a team responsible for cyber security awareness, training and alerts across the enterprise
Supervises, trains, and evaluates the work of subordinates
Plans and organizes special projects as directed by the Chief Information Officer
Performs related work as assigned
