Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening for an IT Lead Analyst - OpenText Developer at our world headquarters in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

The IT Lead Analyst is responsible for the definition, functional design, custom development and technical support within the OpenText application and other data integration applications. The Lead Analyst will lead product and lifecycle management, lead support efforts, as well as appropriate integrations with SAP (OpenText Extended ECM for SAP) and non-SAP solutions for the OpenText application. The analyst will be responsible to drive sustainable, operational excellence in the delivery of new application improvements and existing services.

This position is accountable for the following:

  • Facilitate business process discussions and analysts to gather and detail business requirements which ensure value and meet the client objectives. Lead and coach other analysts.

  • Provide support and leadership to resolution for technical issues within the OpenText team, other internal teams, and outside vendors.

  • Provide technical direction in the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance for bug fixes and improvements related to OpenText and its interfaces.

  • Work with the Change and Release Management team to ensure representation and coordination of projects throughout the change and release process.

  • Lead design discussions and code reviews.

  • Understand both Agile Methodology, project execution approaches and provides guidance to other teams.

  • Work with vendors to design and implement new functionality.

  • Continuously drive excellence in the areas of optimizing services and work processes, improving quality and reliability and lowering total costs.

  • Deliver and maintain existing services, resolve incidents and problem management and meet SLAs as well as provide rotational on call coverage.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years' IT Analyst experience with document management systems including development and configuration with OpenText Content Server 16.X.X including ActiveView, Database Schemas, WebReport Design, and WebForms, Transmittal cover sheets, OTCS workflows, Smart UI configuration, IDE, OScript, SOAP and REST API service

  • Demonstrable understanding of Content server module related to Extended ECM for Engineering like ADN, CRT, ASM, Bulk loader, Transmittal, MFT, Records Management, Brava, Blazon, Object importer

  • Clear understanding of content server module development and the integration points with other third-party applications

  • Some experience in custom software development experience including full development lifecycle (C# or Java, Visual Studio, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, JQUERY, SOAP, REST API, JSON)

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience

  • Strong problem solving, teamwork skills, and ability to work with minimal direction

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Able to solve problems and fix issues

The Application Analyst is responsible for enhancing, supporting and maintaining an application(s) with the St. Luke's Health System. Responsibilities include optimization of the application through development of new functionality, testing and implementing scheduled vendor releases and system upgrades, and fixing system defects. Provide technical and functional application analysis, define system requirements and develop logical data models using best practices for build and configuration, maintenance and data integrity. Works closely with cross functional application team and St. Luke's clients by providing education on system functionality, and configuration of new tools to increase end user productivity with the application. Ensures application changes follow change management procedures and protocols, create and maintain all documentation for all assigned applications and develop, plan and execute testing for supported applications. Communicates all necessary application changes, enhancements and procedures to all necessary department teams. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide ongoing maintenance, support and development to assigned applications and implement new products. * Participates on new implementation / installation project teams. * Troubleshoot, research, and solve technically challenging problems involving integrated systems. * Tests and verifies software releases, upgrades and any changes prior to the promotion of code to the production environment. * Generate and update appropriate documentation as per policy and procedure. Including requirements, specifications, change control, end user documentation. * Provide education and training for application end user community - keeping them informed of new release feature/functionality, changes/revisions that impact the operation. * Create and route required operational and management reporting needs as required by management and regulatory agencies. * Maintain current knowledge of technology by attending appropriate continuing education training/seminars and reading related periodicals. * Familiar with process improvement and project management methodologies. * Participates in Hospital/Network Committees as assigned. * Function as part of a team. * Strong Customer Service Orientation and ability to follow through on issue resolution. * Level 2 support for Application related issues. * On-Call Support Required. PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Requires crouching, kneeling, and lifting of objects weighing up to 60 pounds, pushing objects weighing up to 80 pounds. Requires hand and finger dexterity to perform repairs of small equipment and to use computer equipment. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations. EDUCATION: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration or equivalent work experience is preferred. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: One to two years of General Computer experience is required. One to two years of Healthcare experience is preferred.
