Manage requirements from Business clients in scope for approved and potential projects

"-" Includes conducting walkthroughs with IT teams and business clients

"-" Ensure specifications satisfy business need

"- " Act as liaison between business and IT to clarify requirements and facilitate issues as necessary

Determine effort estimates for projects, assist in confirming interface estimates are reasonable based on deliverables

Communicate scope for implementation solution for applicable system platform and impacted interfaces

Understand dependency between project deliverables and timelines

Assist in test case development, execution, and defect remediation

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 5+ years experience in Business, System or Data analysis.
5+ years experience in the Life Insurance or Financial Services industry preferred.

Significant experience in policy administration system design

Ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and resources in various skill disciplines

Ability to work independently and within collaborative work environments

Ability to propose design solutions to solve business problems or meet project objectives

Experience working on and/or interacting with waterfall and agile development projects

VIEW JOBS 11/11/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-09T00:00 Responsible for supporting the Senior Director, IT Quality Assurance department, in developing a coordinated strategy and plan to implement IT Quality Assurance error detection and error prevention programs and to promote a Quality culture for IT * Responsible for QE efforts in the Life product area * Responsible for the functional and technical management of Life QE * Participate in meetings with business and IT leadership designed to enlist their support for Total Quality initiatives in order enhance the success and adoption of these programs * Manage the detailed analysis and evaluation of the current error detection and error prevention states to identify Quality gaps and the need for new metrics, standards, processes, and evaluation points to enhance overall Quality performance * Ensure that projects are delivered on time and on budget, at the appropriate level of functionality for the client * May compile and analyze complex data on current errors, test coverage or related matters and develop presentations outlining fact based findings and alternate solutions * Will have functional management responsibility for QE resources * May serve as a highly experienced technical QE resource with technical direction responsibility if functional management is not required QUALIFICATIONS: Required Skills: * Bachelors or Masters degree * 6+ years experience * Strong knowledge of business and technology practices and trends * Superior influencing, negotiation and elicitation skills * Superior written and verbal communication skills * Adaptable and flexible * Technical and leadership experience supporting the impacted LOB and other IT disciplines in the areas of automation and test service virtualization * Several years experience in the insurance or other financial services domains * Several years experience leading and managing FTEs, contractors, and on- and off-shore consultants * Several years testing experience of various platform applications and services * Several years of QE testing experience in financial services Requirements: * Solid working knowledge of, and experience working in the Life product domain * Superior knowledge of, and experience with various software development life-cycles, languages, test service virtualization, latest testing technologies and techniques (e.g., traditional and agile) * Superior interpersonal / relationship management skills, able to foster working relationships within the team, across IT and with business colleagues * Technical and leadership experience in implementing test transformation initiatives resulting in a more streamlined, agile and efficient QE practice * Several years of technical and leadership experience implementing test automation technologies and frameworks resulting in QE agility and efficiency * Several years of technical and leadership experience driving and implementing the full spectrum of test engineering test levels within QE including platform upgrade testing ABOUT AXA: We have been providing stability and reliability to our clients since 1859 to help them live their lives with confidence, to give them peace of mind, and enable them to realize their dreams for their loved ones and their legacy.
