Position Description

IT Analyst

Duties/Responsibilities

Diverse and broad responsibilities so multitasking and technical experience is necessary and expected in this role

Provide exceptional customer service to all users

Oversee IT help desk functions and ensure smooth operations

Assist with support and maintenance of all aspects of infrastructure including servers (physical and virtual), network, storage, communication systems (radios, phone, cellular, etc.) as needed

Manage IT assets inventory and tracking

Manages SCCM packages and deployment

Support and maintenance of user account information including rights, security, and systems groups

Support in the development and maintenance of information security policies and procedures

Monitoring with various security tools to identify potential incidents, network intrusions, and malware events, etc. to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability to architecture and inform systems are protected

Provide technical support for new detection capabilities, recommendations, to improve upon existing tools/ capabilities

Actively participate in various committees including confidentially team, security incident response team, and other related teams

Create and provide security related training as needed

Daily Task Performed

Monitor and support the infrastructure environment

Manage IT help desk

Provide exceptional support to end users on issues involving business applications, work stations, printers, network, telephones, mobile devices, and vendor specific hardware and software

Document and maintain process procedures and technical knowledge base

Monitor for IT security risks and vulnerabilities

Review and analyze log files to report any unusual or suspect activities

Assist with security patching and remediation of computer systems

Manage cyber security tools

Minimum Job Relevant Knowledge

Strong working knowledge of computer hardware, diagnostics and repair and ITSM

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft products: Windows OS, Office, SCCM

Knowledgeable of networking protocols TCP/IP, 802.11, switching, DHCP, DNS, VOIP, Firewalls, IDS/IPS

Knowledge of IT security best practices and procedures

Knowledge of Microsoft SCCM

Minimum Job Relevant Experience-(Type & Length of Time)
2 years of technical support, customer service, and troubleshooting experience required
1 year of networking experience and/or cyber security experience
1 year of Windows OS Support

Education/Degree Certification Required

Minimum 2-year technical degree in related field or equivalent relevant experience and/or certificates

Required Skills

Very detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem solving and decision- making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and consult with team members to develop requirements, solve problems and/or proactively establish technical directions in a timely and thoughtful manner

Ability to learn and support new systems and applications

Willingness to support the team and the company as needed

Desired Skills and Abilities

Previous manufacturing experience is a plus

Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISM, CISA), A , Network , Ethical Hacker

Hands on experience with various security products including Cisco ISE

Strong organizational and project management skills

Understanding of ITSM framework

Additional Work Factors

Environment candidates will be working in: Office, Production floor, Fast- Paced

Estimated amount of overtime: 2-5 hours/WK or as required, Offshift support required

Frequency, average duration of travel: Infrequent but some may be required
