JOB DESCRIPTION

Position: IT Administrator

Job Brief

We are looking for a qualified IT Administrator to join our Help Desk team. Under the direction of the FoxNext IT Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service for Tier 1-2 Helpdesk support and assisting the Sr System Administrator as needed. This position will maintain and coordinate with FoxNext Games' enterprise applications and databases, as well as provide file sharing services, user administration and assist with system builds/migration. A friendly, entrepreneurial personality and strong written and verbal interpersonal skills are essential. Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site desktop support for all users at FoxNext Games locations (Priority: Los Angeles; San Francisco and San Jose sites as needed)

  • Resolve IT Level 1 and Level 2 tickets within ServiceNow queue accurately, timely, and ensure the communication documented within tickets is complete and respectful

  • Maintain and manage software and hardware inventory

  • Assist with AWS/AWS-hosted/SaaS application integrations with Okta

  • Assist with file server health maintenance including operating system updates, patches, configuration changes, redirected folders, departmental or group shares, quota management, and permissions as well as managing user accounts and security groups on multiple systems including Active Directory

  • Rebuild and maintain Jira and Confluence for FoxNext Games projects and structures

  • Provide customer feedback to the appropriate internal teams (i.e. product developers) and follow-up with customers to identify areas of improvement

  • Evaluation of new systems for purchase recommendations and recommend changes based upon insight from technology developments

  • Serve as a role model, by demonstrating exceptional ability and willingness to take on new and additional responsibilities

Position Requirements (Abilities and Skills):

  • Previous experience as an IT Administrator

  • Solid technical background combined with excellent customer service experience

  • Broad knowledge of state-of-the-art technology, multi-level computer systems, applications, services and/or equipment

  • Good organizational and time management skills to effectively juggle multiple priorities and time constraints related to system support, upgrades and implementations

  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

  • Knowledge of Jamf, Miradore, Asset Panda and software packaging

  • Working knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android technologies

  • Linux System Administration/Support experience

  • Project management experience

  • Expert communication skills both written and verbal forms, including proper phone etiquette and ability to provide support to varying levels of users from both a technical and non-technical backgrounds

  • Flexible in working outside of core business hours at short-notice with potential travel between multiple sites

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field

  • IT Computing Environment certification preferred (i.e. Google Cloud, Microsoft IT Certified Professional)

  • AWS Cloud Computing Services certification preferred

  • Jamf, CCA or CCE certified preferred
