How this Role Will Be Impactful

The IT Administrator will work collaboratively within a team environment and be willing to assist and learn from the senior IT staff. This position be responsible for assisting with the installation and maintenance of all IT equipment, including scales, production terminals, printers, scan guns, access points, computers and switches. This position will work closely with production to ensure that all equipment is operational in support of daily operations and work closely with maintenance whenever new equipment is being installed to support production.

What You Bring to the Role

• 2+ years of experience working with IT equipment

• Installation and repair of IT Equipment, Active Directory, Office 365, Access Point Management

• IT equipment setup, problem solving, IT ticketing systems

• Effective communication skills for providing IT support to end-users and ability to document procedures and solutions clearly.

• Ability to manage day-to-day IT tasks efficiently and strong organization skills with attention to detail.

• Associate's degree with technology-related major

Work is based in our corporate offices to allow for meetings, team cohesion and collaboration. This role can be hybrid for the right person with a preference for candidates within a one-hour drivable distance from Harrisonburg, VA.

The position may require frequent access the production environment. Must be able to tolerate the varying heat, wet, and chill of the plant.

Hearing and eye-protective equipment required in the production area. Required to wear hair and beard nets in the production area. Must be able to traverse a two-story staircase multiple times per day.
