Job Summary:

The Information Technology (IT) Administrator will be tasked with maintaining the organizations' IT network, servers, Wi-Fi and security systems. Specific duties will include managing ticket queues, assisting with setting departmental priorities, managing, deploying and maintaining security infrastructures. They will be tasked with implementing security systems, such as firewalls, data protection controls and encryption. They will conduct vulnerability tests to identify and address any weaknesses. Monitoring information systems and responding to any cyber-security incidents. Other duties will include traveling to remote sites and other locations to resolve issues with software and hardware, overseeing CFI's computer systems, maintaining information systems and networks, upgrading and installing new hardware and software, and perform troubleshooting techniques when necessary. They will also provide technical support to maintain the organization's website.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide basic support for software, hardware, and network access.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation of systems and networks.

  • Track, prioritize and document requests using an IT support request system.

  • Provide technical support, advice and documentation to CFI employees.

  • Install and configure new servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.

  • Handle hardware and software failures for employees and make quick and efficient decisions to properly identify the problem and correct.

  • Research various problems to provide appropriate responses to perform basic troubleshooting and assist users through simple procedures.

  • Install, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade devices and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

  • Duties include information assurance, general application support/installation, system troubleshooting, and other duties related to system/user support.

  • Manage data / systems backup, migration and recovery.

  • Manage and configure but not limited to phone, security alarms such as card access, doors, and camera systems etc.

  • Manage website and ensure security of online platforms.

  • Identify and document projects to improve support.

Education:

  • Undergraduate or Graduate degree preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Training, and Experience:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and Adobe Acrobat

  • Possess interpersonal skills to foster working with others to elicit information, ability to think critically and creatively, and also to work independently

  • Preferred candidate has knowledge of property management functions

  • Possess strong work ethic and demonstrates initiative; shows commitment and desire to work in an entrepreneurial, team-based environment.

  • Ability to demonstrate excellent oral, written, and presentation skills
