Overview

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking a IT Administrative Coordinator in the Baltimore, MD area.

Position Overview

The IT Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support to the IT unit's staff members. The Administrative Coordinator creates reports and presentation artifacts, and plays a significant role in both internal and external department communications. The Administrative Coordinator maintains schedules, documents and departmental records, both electronic and paper-based. The Administrative Coordinator sets up meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the senior staff members and other unit personnel to compile presentations.

  • Uses Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.

  • Takes meeting notes and captures action items.

  • Maintains IT unit's files.

  • Creates IT unit correspondence to internal recipients and external agency partners.

  • Occasionally, performs some light technical writing under the close oversight of a technical team member.

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least three (3) years of work experience providing administrative support.

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or other related discipline.

  • Excellent writing and oral communications skills.

  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong listening and writing skills.

  • Strong attention to details.

  • Fluent in use of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

They function as the hospital administrative representative in absence of management. Represents administration when promoting a collaborative approach to problem resolutions. Works through and with the Directors and other administrators for problem-solving efforts. Serves as a role model for staff in support of quality patient care and guest relations. Obtains and provides resources and services needed to care for the hospital patients. Requirements BSN required from an accredited school of nursing required (internal applicants must obtain within 5 years); Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland; At least 2 years of ED experience as a registered nurse; Previous work experience in the charge nurse position or supervisory position is preferred, where incumbent demonstrated knowledge of management theories (i.e. financial management, personnel supervision and practice); Maintains current CPR and ACLS Certification; Must possess the knowledge of clinical, psychological, and patho/physiological theories related to nursing diagnosis and treatment; Demonstrates competency in the interpersonal, technical, and critical thinking domains of practical professional nursing. Must have knowledge of leadership theories, understanding of group dynamics, and demonstrate teaching skills; Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of nursing policies, procedures, standards, systems and equipment as well as demonstrated proficiency as a registered nurse as normally acquired through 3-5 years of experience; Successful completion of required Connect Care modules and training. Facility: Grace Medical Center (formerly Bon Secours Baltimore Hospital) is the first hospital built by the Sisters of Bon Secours in the United States. After 100 years of operation, the hospital is now a LifeBridge Health facility, along with a primary care practice and two behavioral health facilities in the West Baltimore community. Grace Medical Center offers emergency care, inpatient and outpatient behavioral health, renal dialysis and diagnostic services.
