This is a global role which will work in partnership with our country recruitment and enablement teams to recruit strategic or requested ISVs, follow up on the onboarding and enable as well as incubate new ISV partners to drive revenue growth. The ISV Technical Enablement Manager will be responsible for maximizing the growth and expansion of Sage through value added integrations and its products by targeting and developing strong relationships with new and existing ISVs. This position is responsible for presenting product offering and architecture in the best light to new and existing ISV partners, to evoke confidence in companys technology infrastructure, removing all technical objections in the sales cycle.Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
Working with the ISV Recruitment & Enablement Director, peers and local teams to support targeted partners globally, in order to provide best in class integrations.
Understand the ISV partners needs and establish companys product as the best solution that addresses that need
Maintaining and enhancing products as well as underlying technical knowledge, in order to be recognized as an expert and an ambassador for the Sage Brand
Build and present customized demos
Demonstrating excellent listening skills, with the ability to rapidly link business requirements to product capability and customer usage/value
Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
Providing coaching and mentoring to other sales and marketing staff where appropriate, in terms of product knowledge and selling skills/techniques including the initial qualification of opportunities
Providing partner feedback to Product Marketing Management on information gained over the course of partner engagements, specifically relating to product fit and suggestions for improvement to Sage product functionalities
Assist ISV recruiters in creating new partnerships with our defined target markets
Responsible for Solution and Integration design based on Sage products and ability to lead other members of team during integrations.
Strong technical understanding of Sage products and Salesforce with ability to perform basic hardware and software demonstrations
Participate in all regional trade shows to foster new ISV partner opportunities
Develop and present to prospective partner regarding Sage enrolment technical process (e.g. product demo and scope of work required for technical integration) and overall potential client enrolment experiences.
Developing strong working relationships with Partner Marketing team and other key stakeholders around the organization
Achieving and exceeding set targets, KPIs and objectives relating to the technical recruitment of partners
Challenging our current thinking and coming up with innovative solutions as to how we identify and assess our prospective partners.
Ensure all and any risks are identified early and that mitigation is planned and executed to protect the business, partners and colleagues
Be an ambassador and evangelist for Sage and the Global ISV & Developer program inside and outside of the organization
Lead Sage partner negotiations and presentations as needed.
Proficiency in English language, verbal and written
5-8+ years of previous experience as a technical engineer for a CRM/ERP company and/or similar roles.
Good understanding of different sales delivery methods and techniques
Ability and experience in demonstrating technical products
High level of attention to details.
Knowledge of related applications, relational database and web technology
Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in various political environments.
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Strong relationship builder
Customer focused and Commercially minded
Proven track record in a similar role with clear evidence of execution
Experience of working in a matrix environment
Other European language is desired French, Spanish or German perform basic hardware and software demonstrations
Knowledge on Salesforce platform
B.S Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience.
Sage product knowledge and understanding of developer ecosystem preferred
Experience in SaaS models, Global ISV & Developer Programs highly desirable
