JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE Participates within a team environment with responsibility for development, maintenance and delivery of application systems. Provides business, analytical, and design skills within assigned platform. Ensures correct business functionality and IT standards are addressed within the computer applications. Collaborates with business partners and peers to gather, translate and transform business requirements into effective technology solutions. Responsible for leading projects and mentoring peer analysts.#### Clinical Applications Team Core Functions: ##Perform operational delivery, maintenance, improvement, and troubleshooting issues or integration failures of IS applications and systems.# ##Project management of small to enterprise-wide work efforts. Including creation of Scope, Schedule, and Resource (SSR) estimates and collaboration.####Manage system updates, upgrades, and implementations. Including: technical specifications, business requirements gathering, system setup/installations, configuration, testing/verification, and managing user acceptance testing (UAT). ##Partner with appropriate teams. Including: operational stakeholders, other IS support resources, and vendors to resolve issues and complete projects efficiently.####Participate in and drive continual improvement across all IS applications/systems. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Information Services is committed to providing leadership, support and coordination of technology at Samaritan Health Services. The IS Design and Operations function manages the operations of our existing services and implements new technology into the organization on behalf of our business customers. Our team includes the 24/7 service desk, application operations and implementation teams. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor#s degree (preferably in a related field) or equivalent experience required. Three (3) years experience in Information Technology required. Industry recognized, current and relevant certification preferred. Experience in a healthcare environment preferred. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Problem Solving: Ability to identify complex problems, involve key parties, gather pertinent data and consider various options in the decision making process. Skilled at applying problem solving skills in a logical, systematic way to resolve issues. Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively to be productive in prioritizing, scheduling and planning work day to meet customer needs.
