Job Designation

Meggitt Information Systems is seeking a full-time IS Applications Analyst III, who will be responsible for development within our SQL Server and PL SQL environments. The ideal candidate should have a functional understanding of either engineering and manufacturing systems, or environments. The candidate will be responsible for supporting several legacy applications, as well as, be responsible for new development as required. Some travel may be required, but most work will be done on-site in Akron, Ohio.

Job Core Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of custom legacy Engineering and Manufacturing Applications.

  • Ability to develop new applications as required.

  • Debug and resolve a variety of issues (bugs, performance, and user issues)

  • Write functional analysis documents, technical design documents and manuals

  • Participate in the development, implementation, installation, and testing of applications software.

  • Proven experience in life cycle application development with the ability to generate application development policies, standards and procedures

  • Develop utilities, procedures, and documentation upon customer requirements

  • Application installation and upgrades, including third party integration and hardware configuration

  • Working with varying software development and deployment packages

  • Candidate must have an understanding of ITAR, DFARS, and other import/export regulations

Job Specifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field.

  • 5+ Years of VB.NET and Java coding experience

  • C#, SQL and/or PLSQL, UNIX, VAX, Java, Visual Basic, VB.net, Visual FoxPro, Access, Builder, CorVision, FORTRAN (Would be a plus, but not a requirement)

  • Experience coding interfaces in Integrator

  • TotalHR experience would be a huge plus

  • Able to work effectively both alone and in team/cooperative development efforts

  • Able to learn Engineering and Manufacturing concepts

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a multitasking environment

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills

Portfolio sizes may vary in terms of complexity of credits and number of accounts. * Effectively expands and deepens existing relationships as well as successfully prospects new ones. * Works well within a team environment and collaborates closely with internal partners to deliver customer solutions. * Builds and maintains a robust external referral base (COI - Centers of Influence) and maintains a visible market presence. * May be asked to take leadership roles on team initiatives and/or mentoring roles with junior team members as needed. * Responsibilities include: meeting with business owners to build strong relationships, identifying needs, recommending product solutions (including cross sales), and negotiating pricing and fees, coordinating approval of loans through the Business Loan Center and partnering with branch staff and internal product partners to deliver customer solutions and generate business banking sales. * Works with the Business Loan Center and Commercial Loan Servicing department to ensure accuracy and completeness of credit packages and delivery. * Monitors maturing loans and upcoming renewals. * Cooperates with and provides information/perspective to central collections group to allow for timely collections of past-due loans and special assets group to allow for effective workout of graded credits. * Monitors day light overdrafts. * Adheres to pricing discipline and credit quality standards. * Adheres to bank policies and procedures and complies with legal and regulatory requirements. * Keeps abreast of risk-related changes that may impact assigned work functions and processes. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree or the equivalent of an additional 4 years' combination of education and business banking experience required * Minimum of 5 years' Business Banking sales experience to include lending, portfolio management, and Commercial Credit training/experience.
