Irrigation Technician/ Landscaper

Utopia Landscaping is a leading landscaping and irrigation company dedicated to providing exceptional services to our clients. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician/Landscaper to join our team. As an Irrigation Technician/Landscaper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and installing irrigation systems, as well as assisting with general landscaping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain irrigation systems according to specifications
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system components, including valves, controllers, and sprinkler heads
• Perform regular inspections to identify and resolve any potential issues
• Adjust water flow and pressure for optimal irrigation
• Collaborate with clients to understand their irrigation needs and provide appropriate recommendations
• Assist with general landscaping duties, such as planting, digging, and grading
• Operate and maintain equipment and tools necessary for irrigation and landscaping tasks
• Always ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
• Perform other tasks associated with the project at hand
• Install hardscape features such as pathways, patios, and retaining walls.
• Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role
• Solid understanding of irrigation system design and installation
• Knowledge of different types of irrigation systems, including drip, sprinkler, and micro-irrigation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using irrigation system tools and equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical stamina to handle physically demanding tasks

Pay Structure

• Arrive at least five minutes early for each shift
• Consistently work hard and complete tasks without causing any damage
• Maintain a record free of complaints from supervisors and customers
