What does an Irrigation Technician do?

• Conduct inspections, tests, and repairs of the golf course/grounds irrigation system.

• Maintain and operate irrigation pumps and pump stations.

• Program the watering schedule and ensure that proper watering is done when required.

To be successful as an Irrigation Technician, you'll need:

• A valid Driver's license is required.

• Prior irrigation experience and ability to diagnose, repair irrigation troubles, and a strong electrical knowledge (preferred).
