Volt is immediately hiring an Ironworker in Colorado Springs, CO.

The Ironworker position includes but is not limited to the field erection and installation of various types of metal products requiring welding, fabricating, rigging, cutting, drilling, tapping and other related work as required

As a Ironworker you will:

• The bolt up or weld connection of various structural metals

• This individual is responsible for installing various metal products including but not limited to stairs, rails, structural items and custom fabrications

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings

• The erection and installation of joist and deck

• The erection and installation of structural steel and aluminum members

• Lifting, rigging and setting of all steel, aluminum and nonferrous metals

• Cutting, burning, drilling, tapping, welding and field fitting structural and misc. metals

• Work on all aspects of metals and mechanical construction installations

This is a full time opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School or Vocational diploma and or relevant work experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience within the metals industry

• Ability to pass AWS weld test required

• Ability to efficiently read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings

• Follows instructions, responds to management direction

• Understands the importance of upholding OSHA safety practices at all times

• Forklift

• Position requires a person who can work in physically demanding environments in a safe manner

• Ability to lift a minimum of 50-60 lbs.

Pay Rate: $22.00 to $28.00

Day Shift: 7am-3:30 pm

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
