This is a part-time, supervisory, and participatory position in directing assigned activities with the TASCO Teen Programs division. Work involves planning, implementation, and general supervision of teen programs and events under the direction of the Supervisor I and Supervisor II. Work also involves developing effective and harmonious public relationship with participants, and the ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently while following established policies, regulations, and procedures. Work will also include the basic repair of equipment with the use of hand tools and resources, as well as driving vehicles, large trucks, forklifts, and trailers on daily basis. Work will include some assignments on evenings, holidays, and weekends.

Salary: $17.92 - $26.80 Hourly

To Qualify

Minimum Qualifications. Applicants must:

  • Possess a valid high school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • Possess and continue to maintain a valid Driver License.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing.
  • Be able to make presentations and provide information to large groups.
  • Be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successfully meet the State of Florida good moral character and Level II background screening standards.
  • Obtain within six (6) months of appointment and continue to maintain valid CPR and First Aid certifications.

Desirable Qualifications. Preferred applicants:

  • Are able to plan, organize and supervise teen programs and activities.
  • Have some supervisory experience.
  • Are certified to operate a forklift.
  • Have experience using various power tools.
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Active Net registration software, and Kronos timekeeping software.
