The position will support Facility Operations with Process Safety Management (PSM) and CMMS scheduling support at onshore facilities. The Coordinator will work closely with the Facility and Pipeline Foreman in the development and implementation of these programs. The primary focus of this role is to provide PSM leadership and technical support. This position will participate in the effort of "maturing" Noble Energy's PSM program and culture to provide an integrated safety assurance in effectiveness in risk reduction and establish the PSM as a core value program to align with Noble Energy's business drivers. This position will evaluate appropriate options and make recommendations that will meet the business unit needs. This position will also work closely with other departments (e.g. EH&S, Regulatory, CMMS) in order to coordinate all aspects for their successful execution.
Assist with implementation and maintenance of PSM documentation and overall PSM compliance activities for the business unit's facilities and pipeline groups.
Coordinate with centralized projects group and EH&S to ensure compliance with Noble Energy's PSM program, including monitoring CMMS activity.
Responsible for preparing, scribing, tracking, and closing out PHA's (Process Hazards Analysis).
Assist with the completion of all Pre-Startup Safety reviews.
Mentor and Lead the Facility and Pipeline operation teams with maintaining PSM requirements.
Monitor and report PSM system performance effectiveness and realign accordingly.
Work closely to support the Facilities/pipeline operations in maintaining Management of Change and Process Safety Information system, revalidations, audits, etc...
Ensures proper documentation and job books are in place for each completed project to comply with mandated facility requirements.
Applies required regulatory requirements and process safety management concepts to assigned facilities.
Assists in maintaining safety training and compliance.
Ensure all work orders are being scheduled and completed properly in CMMS
Manage all PSM Regulated work orders in CMMS to ensure compliance, including planning, scheduling, and metrics needed for their lifecycle and the distribution of data if an audit were required.
Typically requires Bachelor's degree or additional equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in oil & gas facility operations or related
Knowledge of gas plant operations and machinery strongly preferred
Knowledge of safety protocols applicable to gas plant preferred
Thorough knowledge of OSHA PSM, EPA RMP, and DOT requirements and implementation.
Familiarity with mechanical, electrical and process based systems will be beneficial.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
