In conjunction with management, supports department and company goals by providing technical and subject matter expertise with regards to map creation, data standards and Enterprise GIS.
Coordinates assigned GIS projects.
Provides mapping support to various departments (Land, Facilities, Operations, and EHSR) and disciplines in the form of paper or digital maps.
Imports, creates, reformats and/or processes data to produce spatial data for distribution into GIS or hard/digital copy maps for various projects and/or business planning. Data sources could be internal and/or external vendors.
Analyze and manipulate data necessary for Acquisition and Divestiture due diligence.
Create presentation quality maps for a variety of internal stakeholders including but not limited to Land, Business Development, Engineering, EHSR, and Field Operations
Perform GIS analysis, GIS Mapping, and spatial database management as it pertains to the operation and maintenance of midstream gathering system pipelines.
Provide GIS Automation Support utilizing Esri Model Builder, Python, and/or FME
Support mobile GIS initiatives associated with midstream field data capture
Provide guidance and support in the incorporation of midstream pipeline As-Builts into the master GIS database
Builds reports for inter- and intra-department needs.
Assists Sr. GIS Analyst with the development, and writing of processes and procedure documentation.
Assists Sr. GIS Analyst with solving complex technical problems.
Assists in GIS enhancements or extensions to be used in conjunction with other department interfaces.
Assists with biannual system upgrades, enhancements and testing as required.
Works with and have a basic understanding of survey methods.
Pipeline and Facilities background a plus.
GPS technology background a plus.
Special projects and other duties as assigned.
