IRC Tech (Instrument Repair Technician)

DescriptionPosition Summary:Perform evaluation, refurbishment, assembly, alignment and acceptance testing of automated electro-mechanical biological test systems on an advanced level while maintaining stock levels.Primary Responsibilities: * Perform sub-assembly and final assembly acceptance test operations. * Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations of a complicated nature. * Assist in training of Technicians. * Perform any other job related task as assigned by Management.Education, Skills, & Experience: * Technical/Vocational degree with minimum of 3 years experience in related manufacturing environment.*

In lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/GED with 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment and 2 years of electronic technician experience. * Associates Degree is desired * Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical functions, advanced laws of electricity, microprocessor and analog systems. * Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and assembly procedures. * Knowledge of service and repair of St. Louis based instrumentation. Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance and calibration systems and processes. * Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. * Ability to conduct advanced test procedures.#biojobs
