This temporary position will provide administrative assistance and expertise for the human subject's protection programs and services administered by the Human Subjects Office (HSO). Conduct a thorough review of commercial IRB applications to ensure that federal and university requirements for application content and informed consent documents are met.

To coordinate the activities and interactions among the UI Institutional Review Boards (IRB), commercial institutional review boards, other University committees, and UI investigators.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Some (6 months - 1 year) related administrative or program coordination experience.Regulatory Compliance: Demonstrates basic level of proficiency regarding compliance with federal regulations.Problem Solving: Demonstrates working level of proficiency identifying problems and obtaining resolution alternatives.Accuracy and Attention to Detail:

Demonstrates working level of proficiency processing information with good accuracy. Evidence of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Communicating for Effective Relationships: Demonstrates working level of proficiency in facilitating collaborative communication and working well with others in a professional environment.Service Excellence/Customer Focus:

Demonstrates working level of proficiency listening to feedback and adding value to customer interactions.

Desired Qualifications:
One or more years' experience conducting research involving human participants, or in a related administrative role supporting human subjects research.Working knowledge of university policies and federal regulations regarding the protection of human subjects in research.Technical experience with an electronic research application database or other data management system or electronic workflow system.This hourly position will pay between $18.26 - $19.23 per hour based on qualifications. The Senior Proposal Analyst takes responsibility for the entire proposal process from RFP receipt to high-quality proposal creation and delivery in a high-volume environment. Bid Strategy and RFP Review Meeting Facilitation…..35% * Schedule, facilitate, and actively participate in bid strategy meetings to prepare proposal response. * Recommend solutions for proposal response based on prior proposal experience. * Ensure all aspects of RFP are addressed with pertinent Subject Matter Experts. * Review RFPs in detail and identify mandatory requirements. * Prepare fact sheets/proposal outlines. Prepare for RFP receipt (pre-work)…..10% Proofread and edit various proposals as needed by the department…..10% Other duties as assigned…..5% Qualifications * BA or BS, preferably in English, Journalism, or Business or similar degree. * Master's degree in English, Journalism, or Business preferred. * 5-10 years of experience in proposal writing or similar discipline. * Expert proficiency with Microsoft Word and moderate proficiency with Excel, Project, Visio, and PowerPoint.
